This round extendable dining table is handcrafted from solid walnut wood, combining natural grain with a practical extension function and a powder-coated steel base. Its compact circular form is suitable for everyday meals, while the hidden extension insert increases the tabletop length when additional dining space is required.
Once extended, the table transitions from a round tabletop into an oval dining surface suited to larger meals and gatherings. The available size range allows the table to be selected for different kitchens, dining rooms, and open-plan interiors.
Each table is individually made to order in the WoodenSoulUA workshop in Poltava, Ukraine. Natural differences in grain, tone, knots, cracks, and markings are preserved as part of the solid walnut’s character, so every finished tabletop has its own individual appearance.
Design & Aesthetic
The tabletop has a rounded silhouette and a substantial solid wood profile. In its closed form, the table is round. When the extension is added, it becomes oval, providing more usable surface area while retaining the curved shape of the original design.
Solid walnut gives the tabletop a naturally varied appearance. Grain, lighter and darker sections, knots, and other natural markings remain visible across the surface. Natural knots and cracks may be filled with epoxy resin as part of the finishing process.
The geometric metal base is constructed from powder-coated steel. Its angled supports create a clean structural element beneath the tabletop while keeping the area around the table visually open.
Function & Use
The extension system allows the table to remain compact for everyday dining and expand when more surface space is needed. Depending on the selected diameter, the extension adds 40, 50, or 60 cm to the total length.
The smaller round form can be used for daily meals, while the extended oval form provides additional dining surface when required.
The table is available in several standard sizes, allowing its proportions to be matched to different dining spaces. Custom dimensions may also be requested before ordering.

Each table is individually made to order in Poltava, Ukraine, with an estimated production time of approximately one to two weeks. Because the tabletop is produced from natural solid walnut, the grain arrangement, knots, cracks, and tonal transitions will differ from the photographed examples.
The tabletop, base, and accompanying components are securely prepared and protected for transportation.
